Using Tsm3, I was effectively able to create a basis for my rigs relatively easily. Originally, I had used advanced skeleton but I found Tsm to be more intuitive for cartoon characters. The head rig set up had to be modified in order to work with a separate mesh, this was important for me to get working correctly as a design choice which would help avoid any issues with the facial blendshapes, which I learnt from some forums before deciding to to this.

Using TSM was quick and effective with these style of characters. And having the option to choose the style of rig was very useful

once the basis of my rig was complete, I then imported the various meshes from the other characters which would be applied and then saved out as individual rigs

As mentioned previously, the characters shirts were the only component of the rigs require UV mapping

The textures were done in Photoshop at 2048x2048 resolution
