Finalized Environment

Creating the environment definitely an area I spent a lot of time at refining until I was able to produce an image that was as close to my original vision as possible and the warm environment of it's Nevada Desert setting. My original concept of having this track placed in the middle of absolute nowhere was to stay true to it's words and be as whacky as possible all the way through to the final designs given all of my unusual cartoon inspirations from my younger days which helped shape the development tremendously.



The track layout was something that remain unchanged from the beginning aside from the addition of the highway which as I mention before was due to the change to have my opening scene in the same scene files


The track layout was made to resemble an old airfield combined with various features from different real life drag racing tracks

Although my animation is suppose to be flat in style, I still took into account the important use of fresnel in lighting which I will talk about in the next post
